Hiking
Near Punanti you can find some of the best hikes in the north of Ecuador to acclimatize to the altitude. Especially if you would like to climb higher peaks such as Cotopaxi, Cayambe or the Chimborazo Volcanoes.
Mountain climbing

Las Golondrinas Hot Springs are located approximately 3 km from Punanti Hostel, it is a spring of thermal waters coming from the hot bowels of the Cayambe volcano.
